🐦 Premium Cardinal Aluminum Mexican Train Domino Set - Durable, Elegant Design Review

My husband decided to buy it after playing golf over the weekend. The box they come in is sturdy and closes normally. The tiles are pleasant to the touch - they are of good weight and lie perfectly on the table. I'm also impressed with the lengthy instruction manual that covers the basics for several games.

We like the game. However, compared to our friends' set, this one has rounded edges that are more likely to tip over, and the two dominoes have marks on the back to identify them, like marked cards. We were surprised as they appear to be the same make and model as our friends. I would still buy them but the quality doesn't seem to be what it used to be.

I am writing this review mainly to counteract the bad reviews from some customers. The Mexican train domino set I received was well made, packaged in a well made metal box and the print on each tile was bright, vibrant and right where it was supposed to be printed. the shittiest piece of plastic and hardly worth using unless you need that piece. There are separate stations that can be purchased from Revain, which is what I intend to do.

All dominoes are in stock and in good condition. One domino had a slightly rounded back, which I don't really care about. They are kept in a metal box. Mine didn't have a train symbol on the front, which again isn't a big deal. Overall I think the set is very good. Bought as a gift for my grandmother. When we started playing, we quickly realized that we were missing characters. We only counted 63 pieces, so it was impossible to play. Unfortunately it is too late for me to return this package via Revain and after contacting Cardinal Industries I sat on hold for an hour and then gave up. I can't believe how cheap this play set is. The color of the dominoes and the size of the dots were unstable. Regarding the color: They weren't very "vivid" or shiny, but rather matte.
