Description of Cardone 20 7877 Remanufactured Domestic Steering

As a remanufactured Original Equipment part, this unit guarantees a perfect vehicle fit. All critical components (cam packs, spool valves, etc.) are triple-tested to ensure product reliability; Units are supplied with 100% tested and calibrated pressure relief valves. All units are built with 100% new O-rings and premium-grade HNBR seals to prevent leaks; HNBR does not break down at high temperatures like conventional seal material. Shafts are surfaced to precise specifications to eliminate premature seal wear and extend pump life; Final pump assembly is computer-tested to measure pressure, bypass, fluid flow, valve operation, steering effort and noise to ensure reliable performance. Our remanufacturing process is earth-friendly, as it reduces the energy and raw material needed to make a new part by 80%.

Works as it should. for parts

I installed this on my 1978 CJ7 with a remanufactured steering box about 6 months ago. So far this is working as expected. The hardest part was getting the right size pulley as the old one hadn't pulled in 40 years.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Works fine!: Pumps

Why can't the pump come with the pulley already installed? The pump works perfectly! The only complication is removing the old pulley if it is destroyed. Then you need to find the right pulley for the right installation. Pain is what you know. But it's fun to have old cars.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Damaged

hoping for the best.

I've been wearing this for a few months now and have ridden enough miles to get all the air out, but I still whine a bit cornering! The liquid is in a line, there are no air bubbles in the liquid. When I first installed it, the howling was awful! I think I'll just live with it as it is, don't want to spend more money on something else.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Vulgarity
