Didn't work best in replacement parts

Installed a new part. Worked for 5 minutes and then stopped. Decreased. Two days have passed since the 30-day return date. Nobody could catch up. Totally freaked out.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Fixed issue with intermittent switching to 4X4.

My truck would go into 4X4 mode intermittently, making it difficult to turn at low speeds. After ordering this part (cheaper than any store) and spending 30 minutes installing it, it works like new.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Lack of power

My erratic shifting of the transfer case has been fixed.

My T-case itself worked in 4-lock at low speeds and sometimes the lights flashed and it was diagnosed as this component. I finally got it installed by my local mechanic about a week ago and have had no problems since. If you are doing it yourself, note that the front driveshaft MUST come out to remove the center screw. I'll update if it gets bad again.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Doubtful

NEVER FOUND for parts

The SVC light came on and the gearbox spontaneously engaged in 4WD. Bought this transfer case motor in November 2018 - installed at a local workshop in May 2019 - the problem persists. I took it to the dealer and two service centers searched for a deeper problem to no avail. Finally, in January 2020, he reached out to a former Dodge mechanic. He replaced it with another rebuilt unit and the 4WD works well. Looks like this one broke right out of the box.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I will write later

However, Revain was amazing by sending me a replacement

DO NOT BUY! I first bought this spare part in October 2016 because. She was the only one with 1 day delivery and I went hunting. This part lasted 7 months before he died. Revain was great and sent me a replacement but the next one took less than 3 weeks. Again, Revain was fantastic and gave me my money back. Conclusion: DO NOT BUY THIS RE-MAN SHIT! You have been warned, spend your extra money on a new one from a different manufacturer.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Reliability

2008 Chrysler Aspen (Similar to Durango)

Purchased to replace Part #NVG 48408 from a 2008 Chrysler Aspen (Full Time 4WD - 4WD Lock - 4WD Low) The symptom was "SRVC 4WD" lamp flashes sporadically, especially when driving over bumps in the road. He's probably trying to switch to 4WD mode himself. Unfortunately, the part is hidden in front of the transfer case. To get there you need to remove the front drive. I ended up paying a mechanic to do it for me. Time will tell if I have correctly diagnosed the problem and if this part will hold…

Pros
  • Happy at the moment
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I installed this device about a week ago and .

, I installed this device about a week ago and it seems to be working as expected. I bought a replacement transfer case motor because the "4WD service light" on the dash was on AND because the transmission was randomly going in and out of 4 wheel lockup modes! I have a mechanic friend who told me that the transfer case motor was probably the culprit. A new block from a dealer would be MUCH more expensive ($450). This refurbished unit is $170 and I get some money back if I give them the "core"…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Hello
