Will not fit - returned

Shaft Will NOT fit 2008 Volvo v70 as advertised. The inner ends of the shaft are of a different diameter, and the outer ends are of a different design.

Premature failure Spare parts

Premature failure of inner CV joint 24 months after installation, approx. 32,000 miles. Volvo V70 2004 I recommend using your local parts dealer with lifetime replacement.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons

Terrible customer service

The axle itself looked like a quality part but does NOT fit a 2008 Volvo S as they say. I have emailed the company to try and resolve the issue. They just apologized that you should send the part back. Tried calling her, no answer. I understand that such problems occur, but they have not done anything to fix the problem. Now my car is idle for a week until I can get the part I need somewhere else.

Pros
  • Transmission and gearbox
Cons
  • Minor issues

It worked well as an axle replacement for our 2001.

This worked well as an axle replacement for our 2001 Volvo S60 T5 with 143,000 miles. It still had the original axles and vibrated when accelerating over 55mph. I swapped both axles and now the vibration is gone. This one looks a little different than the OEM as it's missing the rubber piece on the shaft, but it works fine as the piece doesn't seem necessary.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Doubtful
