The product corresponds to the description. It was an exact OEM replacement. The product is simply screwed to the van's awning bracket.

I only needed the motor, I had a weak one, I put the whole assembly in place, but you can unscrew the 3 screws holding the motor and just swap them out. much easier than what i did. You should be able to just buy the motor without all the gears if you don't need them

My 2013 Itasca has a 20 foot Carefree Eclipse electric awning. For 7 years I changed the engine twice. This last failure was due to a worn drive wheel bushing which caused a small motor drive wheel to slip when the awning was folded. A replacement R001104BLK gear set solved the problem, but the new motor wasn't powerful enough. So I replaced my old motor and everything is fine. The delivery was on time and the part fit perfectly.

After 10 years of constant living and heavy use I think the original motor on my 2010 Winnebago is a bit loose. large 18" awning that folds out about 6". I had to tie my hands to the bus until the end of the ride. I found that the tension of the wind opening the awning slightly bent the convergence of the gears.
