    As expected: my rating

    We love Carhartt, always great quality. This was for my 9 year old who hates wearing jackets and would actually wear these. Warm enough for a cold morning. I purposely made it that big for him.

    Works great - my new review

    These coats last forever, I mean seriously if you buy one and it doesn't hold out for at least a sibling and maybe a cousin as it's defective and the company is great with returns. It's big BUT it grows into it, THIS is my fault for buying the wrong size.

    • The sizing chart says small fits a 4-5, instead the label says 7-8 is too big for my 3 year old grandson, very unhappy.

    Nice jacket, as expected, but the size in the description does not match the size on the label. Reduce the size if using a table in the description.

    Zipper is good for me

    We're the Carhartt family, always have been, but the zippers on these kids' jackets have always been junk. My son was the same size before and this zipper was also impossible.

    From what I've heard, they've been looking for their child for a while. This is for my nephew.

    Bought for my sister's son, seems to be her best jacket yet. The man who made the jacket is of course worth a lot when you see what it was like, what a brand it is.

    What do you expect: my review

    Great coat that will last all winter in Minnesota. It works like a clam, so you'll probably want to wear a sweatshirt underneath if the temp is below zero, or maybe add a sweater if it's negative. Very durable, perfect for adventurous kids.

    Make no mistake with Carhartt

    What can I say about this company, everyone who knows their products are amazing. I've worn the same jacket for almost 20 years and it has held up beautifully. My son was in need of a good jacket recently so naturally I turned to her.

    Warm and durable. A little oversized.

    My 8 year old mad hunter loves this coat. It's warm and durable and you never know when it's dirty, which is a plus as it likes to get dirty. My son is an average size for an 8 year old and I bought a 10-12 thinking it would last two winters but it was A LOT tall. Probably my fault for ordering too much. I went back and bought a size 7-8 which has plenty of room and might even fit next winter. He has worn it to school and played every day for the last 6 weeks and it is holding up very well…

    Nice design - no quality control.

    The design of the coat is really good but it is made in a factory in Vietnam without any quality control. I know this because the coat came to me with a Carhartt tag sewn directly onto the front of the coat, REVERSED. Not only was the person in charge completely unfamiliar with the English language and the Latin alphabet, he didn't even know his company logo! And just like that, he walked out the door. The look inside the coat wasn't much better, all the seams were torn, the seams weren't on…

    I love these coats!

    Just bought my 3rd layer of this style in 3 years. My grandsons love these jackets as much as dad's and my mum loves them too - they are very warm and look brand new even after 2 years of socks. The boys are now 3 and 4 years old. 3 year old (medium sized) outgrew the 3T this year and switched to the 4T. A 4 year old (medium sized but tall) can still fit (barely) in a 4T. Moving on to little boy sizes, we discussed which size to go for. 4/5 (I think it was very deep) just sounded too small so…
