Original Carhartt sizing. I scaled down to medium. Goes well over a t-shirt. You could go with a big one. It would be more baggy underneath. Chest 44 inches.

Bought 3 sweatshirts. There were 3 I bought locally that lasted about 8 years. Still holding, but there are a few holes. Thick enough to keep you warm. I definitely like the bag.
