Carhart should be better.

Read reviews and note the sizing issue. They fit weird. It's hard to be specific about that. They are also very thin. They work like spring gloves at 40C. If I paid $20 for other similar gloves I would say $20 wasted. But I expected more from the Carhartt name. One star for the gloves and a bonus star for the flap magnets. This is the best magnet we have ever seen on a glove like this. It won't let you down! My husband wears Northstar flip top gloves as gloves and keeps them in his backpack as…

It's terrible! on Cold Weather Gloves

I figured I couldn't go wrong with Carhartt. I was very wrong. I don't like tight things on my hands, so I ordered men's gloves in size XL, thinking there would be room in it for more comfort. Bad luck. The flip top is not worn over gloves. It's about 1/2 inch too tight. You can manage to squeeze your fingers just enough to get them into the top of the mitten, but then you can't move them once they're inside. Not that useful. I thought it was just my hands until I took them off and laid them…

Disappointing - gloves and mittens

I expected them to be well made from Carhartt but should have listened to some other reviews. They look thin and cheaply made. They're not very warm at all. The flap of the mitten and the flap for the thumb gusset at the back and must be fixed with a magnet. This sounds smart in theory, but in practice the magnet isn't strong enough to hold the valve, so it keeps flipping back. Even worse is the fact that the not-so-useful magnet is cold and uncomfortable for your hands all the time. This part…

I expected something more.

I bought these gloves because I was looking for fingerless gloves that convert into mittens that don't have the annoying velcro to close the mitten lids and they fit the Invoice. Sizes, I measured and followed their recommendations and found my fingers were too long for the recommended size, but I have longer fingers. I wish I had a bigger size. There's a thumb and thumb cover that attaches to the back with small magnets, which I like and I don't have to worry about it wearing out over time…

Good in quality. Short in size.

Before ordering I saw several reviews where sizes were discussed. After receiving the gloves I understood why the size ratings didn't match. Some reviews say the gloves run small, others say they are large. In my experience, the gloves fit as expected in terms of hand width, but not in terms of length; Which is pretty ironic since they don't have fingers. You know how to wash your new shirt and suddenly it's loose enough but too short? This is what these gloves look like. (But also without…
