Great on the outside, not so good on the inside.

I have an old Carhartt thermal underwear, it's the best thing in the world. As a base layer, the outside offers sub-zero comfort, while the inside is breathable and extremely comfortable. It's not the shirt. Comfortable on the outside, rather miserable on the inside unless you sit still. I would rate them slightly above average as thermal underwear. My old Carhartt base layers are like nothing I've ever owned. The quality was excellent and I wanted to live in it in Chicago during the winter…

This is a good product. It fits well and keeps you warm. I have two small flaws: a) It is slightly shorter than other products of this type and size. It's long enough to be refilled, but I would have preferred it to be a few inches longer. b) There is a brand logo at the end of the left sleeve. It's not necessary and I wish it wasn't so. But generally a reliable performer. About a week later I took off another star. It's still a good product, but the front of the neck rests on our throats, so I

Not what I expected

It was another cold winter day. I was wearing a Carhartt Thermal Top. The top is made of thick cotton, it is comfortable and warm. I immediately decided I needed more of this. I should have paid more attention to the product description. These thermals are thin and thin compared to older thermals. Air flows easily through the sleeves, making them cooler than the originals. There are no cuffs on the sleeves. I would wear the original without the extra layer and feel warm and comfortable. Not…

Literally my favorite shirt - I want one for each day of the week

First I tried to attach a few photos to show in general how the fit is - a little loose for a thermal layer but in a comfortable way whilst it is still warm enough. I'm a bit tall now and please forgive the blur, it was hard to get a good angle and photograph the shirt on myself. However, I also included two photos with and without the flash to show the pattern of the waffle. I saw a few reviews mentioning that this shirt no longer has the waffle pattern and uses a cheap polyester material…

Fits great, looks like cotton

Shirt fits perfectly; this is the happy medium between loose and tight clothing. I wear medium sized clothes, I'm 5ft 9in, weigh 165lbs, chest 39in, waist 32in for reference. I was concerned that the shirt was polyester and NOT cotton. sticky shine. But when you see it in real life and maybe you can tell from the pictures but it looks like it could pass for cotton. The shirt is fairly low friction and combined with thumb loops, and it makes it very easy to don outerwear from the top. The thumb…
