If you like Carhartt's discontinued Grayling Cap and think this cap will replace it, think again. I have several Grayling caps and was sad to see the manufacturer discontinue them. Revain sent me this replacement hat so I bought it. First, it's too high for my head when I pull it down so it covers my eyes. When you wear it where you're supposed to, it looks downright ridiculous. Tried to give it to my son, same thing. Tried to give it to one of my colleagues, same thing. It's coming back today.

Great hat although it gets dirty easily. The moisture absorption mentioned only applies to the hat band. The material resembles the typical comfortably heavy Carhartt duck fabric. I am ordering my sixth hat from this model because I love it and recently made the mistake of wearing my lovely hat to work during the day.
