🐠 CaribSea Arag-Alive Natural Reef Gravel for Aquariums Review

When I tried this aquarium substrate, I was impressed by how natural it looked in my tank. My fish seemed to love it and I noticed an improvement in their overall health. The grain size is perfect for easy maintenance and cleaning. However, it may be a bit pricey compared to other substrates in the Pet Supplies category.

This is a great product, it comes with a water purifier to help with cloudiness. This is the only substrate I will use again. Ordinary sand is carried around all over the place when you need more circulation in the tank. They're a little heavier, but still small enough to be sifted through by an ox.

It's called Natural Reef, and that's right; very natural looking reef substrate with a large variety of grits. This is great for your burrowing critters like Jaws and Pistol Shrimp/Gobies Pairs. I've used all the popular Carisea reef aquarium substrates and this is my favorite for my higher flow SPS aquarium as it doesn't over-bloat and my gun shrimp can make great caves with crushed pieces of coral in the mix.
