This is a treasured keepsake that will be treasured for many years. It can be upgraded by adding decorations like seasonal faux flowers, ribbons and even placing a special photo frame next to it to personalize the lantern and inspirational quote.

Looked nice but didn't work. Tried different batteries and brands with no success. There is only one on/off switch and since that doesn't work I have no idea about the timer function. The candle was very light plastic but the lantern itself is beautifully made. I am returning it because it is defective but I found similar items online for a much lower price. After looking at it, I find it a bit pricey for the quality. In general, I was disappointed in him.

I ordered this as a gift and needed it the same day it arrived. But when it arrived it was defective. It was askew, the door was warped, and the glass was dangling. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with the quality for the price. It's a beautiful thing, but cheaply made. I immediately started the return process and was asked if I would like another one delivered to me free of charge. (Really?) I couldn't afford to have another defective one, so I won't be ordering another one.

I'm giving 3 stars generously. I bought this as a gift for a neighbor who recently lost her husband and she absolutely loves it BUT the only negative is the candle drains batteries! Tomorrow I plan to unscrew the candle from below and just replace it with another LED candle. There are others with 8 hour timers that don't require a battery change but maybe once a month! She's old and I can't make her change batteries every 10 days or so, that's ridiculous! So be careful.

This lantern looked beautiful online, I bought it as a keepsake for my niece who unexpectedly lost a family member. After three weeks of waiting, it arrived today. The screws on top that hold the copper in place were unevenly spaced - very poor quality. The same goes for the screws that hold the base that the candle sits on. The outer strip was completely torn off on one side, and the paint was torn on the other two sides. It is clear that Zealous Enterprise has employees who do not take pride…

This lantern is so beautiful. It's a lot more than I expected which makes it even better. We're taking it for a preview that will be placed next to the coffin tonight. We have written our condolences below so our relative will know who it is from. If it were mine I would probably place my favorite photos of my loved one face out on 2 sides and back and let the candle give them "life". The lettering on the front is perfect, as is the soft flickering of the warm colored candle. Pretty peaceful. A
