📚 Carta Bella Paper Tartan No.2 Collection Kit Paper in Red, Green, Black, Navy, and Black Review

This beautiful paper for small gift boxes is wonderful to work with. in China it's worth it for me.

I didn't know (my fault) that this stack of paper would only have 12 pages. I read other reviews that said the paper had an odor and yes there is a definite chemical smell. It's not overwhelming and in my case it doesn't affect the project I'm using it on. The rest of the paper is excellent and of good quality. Not skinny and not skinny. The colors look good.

Colors are dark with an almost charcoal tint according to some people. Reds are almost maroon, while greens have a greyish tint. With the exception of 4 sheets, I wouldn't call this good paper for a Christmas project. There is nothing celebratory about flowers and as such I feel the value for money is inadequate as I will probably not use 75% of the packaging for its intended purpose. I will donate to a local school.

While I understand photos and displays can be deceiving, I did not expect the colors to be so muted/dark/faded on this paper. The paper itself is nice and thick and thick, but the color leaves a lot to be desired. I was expecting bright Christmas tartans, but instead the colors are dark and muted and don't go well with the traditional bright Christmas reds and greens. I'm keeping it, just wish it looked more like the item shown in the photos.

This is a good double-sided printed thick cardboard and I was so excited when the package arrived quickly! However, that is the only positive thing I can say about it. Unfortunately, the colors are dirty, dull, and holy moths. PAPER IS OUT! Seriously the smell is so awful I had to use it in my asthma inhaler and the smell lingers even after I put the paper back in the envelope and sealed it. I put it on the porch and hopefully the smell dissipated. Unfortunately the colors are still very dull…
