My kid loves these boots! They look great, are easy to put on and take off, and glow (his favorite part)! The boots were quite stiff the first day or two but he insists they now make him "super fast"! They did a great job on their first snow expedition and my son can't wait to walk deeper snowdrifts.

Bought for my 5 year old daughter who is very picky about shoes and boots. She loves them and says they are very comfortable. They keep feet and shins dry and are easy to put on and take off. She also likes that the butt lights up when she walks. They also seem very suitable for walking on ice and snow without slipping. Excellent purchase!

Yes, they shine! The description doesn't say much but my son and I were happy and surprised because they shine. Not expected but even better! I ordered the boy style with red soles. I found the contrasting red sole an odd design, but given Carter's price and quality, who cares?
