🚗 Carwiner 2021 Tesla Model 3/Y Center Console Organizer Tray with Flocked Armrest, Hidden Cubby Drawer Storage Box, Coin and Sunglass Holder - Interior Accessories Review

This unexpectedly gives the storage compartment on the center console of my Model Y an extra amount of space. Much space is not used and it helps with organization and is very well designed. Compartments make good dividers for things like garage door openers, loose change, and sunglasses. The feel and build quality is really good and true to what's in the car.

The tray works well (and honestly, it's a shame for Tesla that this simple insert is no longer included in the price of a $60,000 car). The flocking is pleasant to the touch and the tray slides easily. I gave it 4 stars because it slides too easily - when I open the center console lid at spirited driving I find the tray slides forward. It's okay, but it would be nice if he stayed where he was.

I'm excited to get a new car and bought some accessories for my model 3. This is one of my favorite things because (a) it looks like it belongs; (b) it really increases the usefulness of that console memory area; and (c) gives me a little confidence that I can hide stuff underneath before people in our area ransack cars. It seems so fitting for the purpose it was designed for that I almost wonder why Tesla doesn't offer it outright.

This product looks and feels like an OEM. It fits perfectly in the new 2021 Model 3 center console. The only thing I would have liked was if the compartments were a little longer. It's just a bit short for things like a sunglass case, mask, etc. I just pick it up and put it underneath. Another caveat: if you push it too far it becomes difficult to grab the notch to lower it because it's so level (which technically shows how well it fits). You have to reach under the tray to move it a bit.

The build quality is excellent and fits perfectly in the space it was designed for. One thing that keeps it from being perfect is that if something is stored in the tray it will slide down the rails when you stop the car. It doesn't take much stopping power to make it slide forward. Upon closer inspection, I'm not sure what can be fixed other than the rubberized tray wings resting on the vault's edge. This is a good looking product and fits well. Glides easily and is a great spot for sunglasses. Unfortunately it slips back and forth when I stop or accelerate. You need a way to give it a little friction or holding pressure. My current one has a magnet glued to the outside wall of the shelf, but unfortunately there is no metal inside the center console. I might take the center console apart to attach a strip of metal to the inside of the console wall to hold the tray in place with a magnet…
