What happened to this brand?

Gloves from this brand used to be so great. What happened? I bought them large because the medium and small fit, but they are HUGE and have an obnoxious, nauseous smell that is really hard to get off your hands. Never again.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Slightly torn

They are best for household items

I've been using them to wash dishes almost every day for at least 2 months and they still work. Other brands I've used have made my hands smell bad every time I've used them within a month. They didn't even do it a little bit. I can easily dip my hands in very hot water. I will definitely buy them again.

Their quality has deteriorated over time.

These gloves used to be the best I've ever used. I haven't bought them for a while, I remember how amazing they were 8 years ago and bought me and my girl. WOW, the product quality has completely changed, but the price definitely hasn't! They are not lined with cotton (I could feel the difference) and whatever the flock is it falls on my hands when I take them off which never happened with the first pair I bought. I will use them now but I will never pay that much for gloves like this again.

  • Comfortable

Excellent dishwashing gloves

I have bought these gloves several times. This was the first time I've bought from Revain in big stores. No flocked lining. There is some kind of soft material which I assume is "flocked" but it is not lined with any kind of fabric. These gloves are pretty durable. I had problems with holes in the rubber after a few months. So for the money I honestly think it's worth the investment. I don't like thicker rubber gloves that make it difficult for me to feel the objects I'm holding.

  • Don't waste too much time

Size S is good for small hands

Most dishwashing mitts on the market are too big for small hands. The sizing descriptions are vague, but for comparison, my palm is 3.5 inches wide and the distance from the base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger is 6.5 inches. Fits well, doesn't constrict and I can easily pick up and wash the dishes by hand. Size S fits a palm width of up to 4 inches. Otherwise, if you find the product in store, there is a size chart on the back of the package. My only complaint is that the cuff, which

Will return. Like the gloves in the grocery store, unlined as advertised.

I ordered these because they were recommended as stronger and better than Platex or standard grocery store latex kitchen gloves, but they look the same. We don't have a dishwasher so we wash our dishes all the time so it takes us about a couple of months because of it tearing and leaking. Judging purely by the look and feel, they don't differ, just more waste going to landfill. They also incorrectly advertise a cotton flock lining, but the inside is just rubber like all the other gloves (I…

The size is NOT "big ".

"Pink Gloves" purchased from the same company. I chose "Large Size". They fit perfectly and are easy to put on and take off. They are comfortable too. I give a pink pair I got 5 stars. I bought two pairs of these "Blue Gloves" (large again). They are significantly SMALLER than the pink version. I can no longer easily put my hand in and out. I give the blue versions "1 star" only because of the "size anomaly". I like the material but I can't wear and take them off easily enough. When they say…

Good gloves and right size

I used to use blue gloves which were the best cotton lined gloves. However, the last pair I had left blue streaks on items I hand washed, so I decided to look for other gloves that can handle hot water. I stumbled across them, ordered and am happy with them. Pros: 1. Love the length and the fact that you can zip it up to keep water off your skin or sleeves. They fit great. I have small hands and they fit true to size.3. I can use hot water and don't feel like burning my hands. Cons: 1. They…
