I bought this to replace a broken 2006 Hyundai Tuscon GLS key fob cover. When I used the new silicone buttons for the new remote, it failed to connect to the fob's motherboard. So I reused the silicone buttons from the old keychain shell in the new one and it fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • For the old one

ALMOST perfect for the inside of my old key fob

Nice to have a clean key fob again. My original for my 2014 Hyundai Tucson fell apart. It's ALMOST perfect. Once the electronics are inside and the case snaps into place, you may feel a slight rattle inside. I fixed this by gluing a strip of rubber band to the telegraph battery. All in all a great purchase. Thanks!

Perfect fit and amazing quality

Love it! I recently bought my first car. This is a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and the original key was in a very rough shape. It was very cracked and scratched all over. I bought this and it fits perfectly. It's thinner than the original, but I actually prefer it that way. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have no complaints. It will take time if you take care of it!

  • Durable workmanship
Cons
  • Weight

Loose battery, key fob wobbles

At first glance a good replacement when opening. You will notice that there is a cut out inside the Hyundai Genuine Key Fob to hold and secure the battery. There is no room for a battery in the back cover of this replacement key fob. it's not secure, it won't stay in place. therefore it does not come into contact with the electrical circuit board, rendering the entire key fob unusable.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Waiting time too long

Perfect Fit!: Interior

When we bought our used Hyundai Tucson the edges of the key fob were torn and after trying to use black tape it worked but looked as bad as you imaginable and felt strange in your hand. Found this key fob and it was so easy to move the internal circuit board into this case. Fits the board perfectly, all buttons work as expected. Looks the same as the old ones except for rips, tape and the Hyundai logo! It's great to save over $100 to not have to go to the store for new keychains!

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • confused

Worked on Hyundai Elantra 2013 FOB

It was so easy to fix. It fits perfectly on my 2013 Hyundai Elantra key fob. It is important to ensure that the solid rubber part of the button is placed in the designated area. Then put the red button on the back. Finally, insert the key fob chip into the fully rubberized front panel, then carefully slide the back into the front. Slowly press all areas on the outside until it snaps into place on all sides. Holds tight like a keychain. Thanks. My loop holding the bell ring is broken. This…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything is great
