🎤 Protective Hard Case for Blue Yeti USB Microphone or Yeti Pro - Caseling Review

I've been using this case every day since I bought it about 2.5 months ago to move between classes on a college campus. As I left the classroom today, the seams on the end of the suitcase came undone and the suitcase fell to the floor. Everything is fine with the microphone, so the cover worked in that regard. However, I can't carry it around with me anymore, so that's a consideration too. Would I buy again with the redesigned handle.

The supportive foam in this case is perfect for the Yeti Mic with Stand. There is even a compartment for a USB cable and nothing rattles even when the lid is closed. I mainly use it for storage and transport, so can't really rate the quality of the grip - although it does feel like it could come loose with rough handling (which is something you should avoid with any mic carrying case). a typically well made Caseling product.

Very happy with this purchase. I need to transport the Yeti mic to and from my home and office quite often and this is a great case to protect my investment. Now that my employer sent me an upgraded MacBook, I also keep a USB-C to USB mini cable in my bag. Lots of space for accessories. Addition after half a year of (light) use - still a great case, with one exception: the shoulder strap is narrow and very loosely sewn to the main case. After a year of use once a week, the strap almost fell off and the zipper was lost. It worked well and my fluffy mic bag fit, but I think the foam will rub against the foam already there and be difficult to push in. I think the strap snapped due to the design. Problem. The weight tends towards one-size-fits-all, which puts pressure on the seams. The zipper came undone as the stitching unraveled. The handle on this suitcase has already broken in just a few months and it has been carried maybe 10 times just a few feet each. The timing was terrible as I had just come out of a time when Revane let me retrieve him. Looks great, protects well (so two stars if broken). Edit: Added another photo as the zippers fell off. Fits my Blue Yeti as advertised! Inserting a pop filter is pretty tricky, but doable. I agree with other reviews that I wish it had padding on both sides as I was taking it on an overland trip and some of the paint was chipping off the Blue Yeti as I think it rattled on the inner boxes when it was on a plane was or otherwise in an airline-handled suitcase as I was careful with my bags while they were in my care. Quality seems pretty good, case looks solid, nice and tough but not tough. The sizing is particularly good, only slightly larger than the mic itself. My main complaint is the padding, the included foam is only about 1 inch thick and doesn't fill the case. There's thin, firm padding on the underside, which should be enough, but there's almost none on the top. This gives the mic good support on the sides but is protected with very little padding at the top and bottom and can put a lot of pressure
