Well if you look at the picture you say it will work. The reality is that the frame is so thin I can bend it with two fingers. It's so light it can't support the weight of a towel without flexing. If you fall on it, it will bend. If you make a mistake by pulling it, it will bend. If you touch it in any shape with more than 1lb of pressure it will bend, once it bends it's only a matter of time before it breaks.

I read the reviews and bought it anyway. I agree it's flimsy and not the best but for the price it's ok. I bought some wooden dowels from Home Depot to stick into the metal supports for support. And used a transparent tape to reinforce the joints. It's still not the strongest dome, but it didn't fall. We have tapestries draped around it.
