Cashel CE BLA Comfort Ears Horse Review

My mare doesn't like it when her forelock blows in her ears. Yes I know, find out. In any case, it serves its purpose and drives away nasty flies.

These ear pads perfectly protect your horse's ears from mosquitoes and flies while riding. This results in less head shaking and more comfort for the horse.

This product does not come in a small size so I had to order a medium size which was a bit big for my mare. It also has no bridle attachment. We added some small velcro strips to keep it in place better.

The picture does not do this hood justice. I was expecting a thin flimsy thing! Instead, I get this high quality, beautifully crafted bone! The material is breathable but dense to keep the tiniest mosquitoes out of your horse's ears! I am very satisfied with this product!

I like this hat because it keeps the flies out without getting warm in the ears. Nothing special, but quite functional. I just put it in front of the bridle and it stays in place. My first one went missing in the shed so I came here to replace it but couldn't remember what size I bought. I have a stocky TB mare 16.2xxxx with big ears so I went the large (warmblood) size. NO! Definitely stick with the medium size (Horse/Arabian) unless you're trying to fit a donkey!
