Throw Horses the best microphone

I have been using the Cashel brand for over 15 years. Used ones even have a resale value! Different sizes for everyone including mini! I will not use any other brand of fly mask. Cashel fly masks are comfortable for ALL my horses, easy to clean, strong, flexible and lightweight. Horses who have never worn a mask can easily get used to it. LOVE IT

Very effective on horses

I didn't appreciate the durability of the mask as I only received it four days ago. However, it's very durable and looks great with the blue ear tips, and the spot where the forelock goes through is just gorgeous. It certainly does its job of keeping bugs out, especially around the eyes, which look like a feast just waiting to be eaten. Great mask - highly recommend.

Good bug mask for horses

I have purchased Cashels before. they hold up well. My horse rubs it on the ground, kinda pulls it off, steps on it, soils it. I take it home, wash it in the sink with detergent and lay it out to dry. It comes out great. The size of the horse is a bit too big for my Fox Trotter so I had to trim the velcro straps to make it fit better. But it was worth it, lest the flies fly out of his face and into his ears.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great Mask: Pest Control

Love these masks. The "ears" were rubbing the hair off the tips of my horse's ears - just wanted to mention that in case anyone is interested. My horse is off pasture and is comfortable with his masks and this one is perfect. He holds it and doesn't mind if I take it off and put it back on. Last year his eyes were covered with flies and dust, but not this year. I prefer the one with the nose cap as the cap is long and gets wet when he drinks.

True Blue for a good cause!

I love Cashel products and my geldings have had pink ears in support of breast cancer research for several years (my first review was rejected by Revain so I'm trying to see if the word is being used to fly the flag). When my palomino recently needed a new mask I was pleased that Cashel now have blue bordered masks supporting the Wounded Warrior Project. And honestly, I think he's glad he's not wearing pink anymore. Blue color is much better for him. In Arizona, we use fly masks most of the…

Only a few issues with it but we both love it

So, for starters, I really liked this product. The sizes are really big. When I ordered the size of the horse it didn't fit my horse with a 15 appendage like it should have and ended up catching on something and tearing. This morning I found him on the floor in his stall and decided it was time to throw him out. I'll order him a small quarter horse or cob. Luckily it doesn't chafe his coat or mane either because I'm trying to get it to regrow and my horse is comfortable. I think it fell off and
