🐴 Cashel Crusader Horse Fly Mask with Ears - Standard Size, Horse - Pink Review

Perfect fit for my mare. 15 hands I can leave it on her for a few days and it won't come off. Durable, 1 mask is enough for me for the whole fly season. I buy a new one every year. Ears are a definite plus.

My horse is young and afraid of his own shadow. I wasn't sure if she would allow me to put it on. After slowly inserting it for the first time, she loves this mask! It keeps flies away from her face and ears where it covers them. She can see perfectly with it, but I photograph it in the rain and wind. I throw it in the washing machine when it gets dirty and it holds up great. Highly recommended!

We buy new ones every year. Our 3 horses are different colors, they all wear a horse size that fits well with our large herd. Our mare rubs holes in all fly masks, but we can easily get a year's worth of wear on this one. It doesn't come off any of our horses, we take it off at night and reapply it in the morning. The hearing protection is excellent. Allowing the flies to work in a contoured, snug fit mask.

. First, the sizes are Warmblood, Equine, or Arabian/Cob. I ordered a horse size with ears and found it too big for my Appaloosa. I made some changes so that at least it doesn't fall off. She's not a very good scooter, but in the first month she had pierced ears. Eventually I gave up and bought the Farnam SuperMask II. This is the mask I have used in the past and will always use.

She likes it. This is one of two masks we have and I can see the difference in her behavior when wearing this mask. I'm not sure if it's under the jaw or gray to see (the other is gold/bronze) but she seems to like it a lot. I bought the "on the ear" version, it fits perfectly and makes the ears wiggle.
