Hello, I am sure this is not a reflection of the seller but I have not been able to get this product to work AT ALL. I followed the instructions and found even more help online. I connected to the computer and could see the lines moving but couldn't hear anything, and then when I hit the play button there was just a hissing sound on the computer. Too bad I waited until the deadline, otherwise I would have gone back. I did everything I could. It is not in the original packaging.

The converter arrived on time and looked good. Turns out I couldn't use it because the cassette I had was 40 years old and the tape itself just wouldn't play. I used it to convert some old family audio files to MP3 files so I can upload them to Sound Cloud for the whole family to hear. However, this conversion requires the Audacity software. Any device that can be connected via a USB port (guitar, microphone, turntable, etc.) can be used with the software to fine tune the music to make it MP3 compatible. It works on Mac although it only works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. I just used Audacity to convert the tapes instead of the disk software that came with this product. It's amazing.
