Cat Elastic Reflective Safety Collar Review

This collar is the only safety collar my stubborn boy will wear. It's softer than the other collar the previous owner had on it. His old collar was a dog collar because, according to his former owner, it ripped loose collars. He hates collars. This didn't bother him at all. He didn't try to remove it and it didn't come off. I'm so impressed I'm about to buy one for my other cat.

This colorful reflective cat collar with an elasticated section for added safety is awesome. The elastic works because my cat got caught on a branch, quickly panicked but easily pulled her head out of the collar. Has a strong clasp that is easy to open and close. The collar is soft and feels comfortable. It reflects brightly, making it much more visible at night. The only thing I didn't like is that the clasp is a bit big. My cat has been known to tear collars since she was a kitten. It's indoors/outdoors so it should be able to pause it. I've gone through countless of them and so far this is the only one he can't open or chew. I have him pretty loose so when I put the collar on his head can easily slip out along with the elastic. I really wanted to love these collars because they are a brilliant alternative to tear-off collars, which break too easily and are lost after a few days. However, I'm not sure about the quality and durability of this product. I bought two of these for my cats (a silver and a blue - the silver is great, really VERY reflective) and after just a week of wearing them they started to wear out badly. Perfect collar for cats that hate it and know how to take collars off. I wanted a collar that my cat wouldn't be able to take off but would be safe if something happened and this is perfect. It has good elasticity but not 3 elasticity, so my cat can easily take it off for fun. In addition, it is highly adjustable and highly reflective! My gray tabby absolutely HATES collars but he is also adventurous and constantly bothers me by trying to slip out onto the road. For this reason I like to wear a tag on him with return information, but it's very difficult to find collars that don't have breakaway clasps that he can undo and he also knows how to slip out of collars that are put on. They are not here. This collar is a fantastic compromise using a regular clasp with enough flexibility from the collar itself to allow it to slip out
