The order came in 3 days. I gave the mechanic the parts and instructions and he was done in less than 30 minutes. You don't get a knock.

I used my own equipment. Self-tapping screws and filled the screw heads with solder to make it harder for a thief to unscrew them. If I have to remove the screen I will heat the solder and remove the screws. Easy installation.

Installation was easy (my husband had all the necessary tools) but even with the plastic spacers the plate still rattles occasionally while driving. However, I'd rather listen to the occasional rumble than have my catalytic converter stolen from me.

The box was opened and carelessly sealed. He had no instructions but luckily my mechanic knew what to do. It's too early to tell if it will work and how durable it will be. The main thing so far is to change the sound of the car - a noticeable growl when the petrol engine is running. We used double sided tape to limit the rattling mentioned in other reviews. I give 4* for now.

I had a mechanic do the job who initially wanted to remove an arm and leg to do the job. He later backed out after I told him how I paid for it. The guy took half an hour. I think I can do it too if I can get it high enough off the ground. While I've seen people squeeze under their cars with a flimsy jack, I'm not sure I'd want to do it myself. In addition, it is not very difficult to install.
