Beautiful spatula necklace. I asked my jeweler to shorten it and add a clasp. When I bought it, I had the impression that there was a closure. never mind I highly recommend this shoulder blade necklace, especially if you have trouble with the fabric.

Very nice shoulder pad. The images of Jesus and Mary are detailed! Wonderful quality and has held up well over the past few months of wearing. It also comes with a prayer card. I love the lightness of this shoulder pad. I can't wear wool due to allergies so I was so glad I stumbled across these.

I like it. Initially I was skeptical about buying it as I thought sterling silver would be better. But I'm glad I bought it. It came in a small plastic box with a prayer card on it. I only tightened the connecting rings a bit, but they are strong. I haven't taken it off since I got it a few weeks ago. Have worn it to sleep and shower and it still looks great. The color has not changed.

Cloth shoulder pads make me allergic. I've been told that the Catholic Church prefers cloth shoulder pads, but that's just one thing I have to disagree with. Or the cloth shoulder pads force me to take them off from time to time. Ever since I had that blessing, I have never taken it off. And I was also told that it should always be on. Even when swimming. I would tie a bathing suit over it to keep it from falling off. Works every time. It's so light you'll forget you're wearing it.

Finally a shoulder pad that can be worn 24/7 without discoloring, breaking or losing when changing clothes. I like this scapular very much! The metals are very small, maybe 3/4 inch, and beautifully crafted in vibrant colors that have not faded. Likewise, the medals and chain are still in perfect condition even after being worn continuously for the last two months.
