Weirdly, I use them to hold my sunglasses with cable ties to my rearview mirror. A bit of epoxy and a black finish matched the mirrors and kept my sunglasses from slipping around the corners. Works perfectly.

Good thick metal and durable paintwork. I used these brackets to mount the lintel between the pergola beams. It matches the black powder coated hardware I used for the joist hangers and joist connectors.
