Exactly what I was looking for, durable and fun for my little one. He likes to point at pictures and play spy with me while I eat or do crafts. This mat does not replace my silicone mats that I use at meals or in restaurants. because of the hard, slippery plastic. This is ideal for DIY or clay projects, or for simple educational and entertainment purposes thanks to the letters and associated images. I will definitely buy a carpet with numbers.

I'm disappointed that the placemat isn't made out of soft silicone like those you can roll up and pack for travel. I chose this for a printed alphabet theme but was surprised to get a hard plastic mat that won't stick to the table. If I had realized that it was I would have gone for a different product and not paid as much as I paid for them. Hard plastic mats are available at local stores for a fraction of the cost. I will keep them for home use as it is more difficult to find time to return…

This napkin has a lot to offer and is a great distraction for my 2 year old while I put food in his mouth. It likes to point at objects and then finds the corresponding object along the border. This is how we work on "big” and "small”. One thing he doesn't pay much attention to is letters and his fascination with letters on everything else is kinda why I chose this doily!
