I immediately recognized the advantage of the up/down light button. Works just like the original but with a separate button for the light.

We had trouble installing the 9 volt battery and had to replace it as one of the contacts broke. The seller was very accommodating and sent a replacement with no problems. all is well.

Works great. Since my 11 year old son was able to set it up, it should be pretty easy (I didn't even see the instructions but it was already done before I saw the remote).

I've been using this type of remote control for many years and it's long worn out (the backlight buttons don't work that well anymore). I'm so glad I found this replacement, it works great. No problem to pair it with light/fan.

I use it for lighting and fans above the breakfast nook. This is the first that is really reliable. The previous two had touch issues: you had to press the keys multiple times and very hard to get the effect. It doesn't have a reverse button, by the way, but who wants to flip their fan? How many times have I accidentally pressed that button and wondered why the fan is so weak.
