🏭 Vintage Industrial Ceiling Fan with Retractable Blades and Chandelier Light - 42 Inch Black, Remote Control Included Review

Bracket mounting holes are widely spaced and will not fit in a standard electrical box. I went to the local hardware store and hardware store and between us we couldn't think of a cross brace to install the brace. I had to send the fan back.

We wanted to move away from the traditional fan that's always outside and it works great. The instructions weren't very clear and it doesn't fit in the existing electrical box, but with a little ingenuity you can work around that, also the radio receiver has to fit in the top case and be tight, but overall we managed. and it's quiet and lets some air out!

The fan is great - looks great! I like the remote control very much. The installation required some thought, we were lucky that our lightbox spanned the beam so we could get it to work. If you don't have more than one standard ceiling fan installed, you probably need help, but it's worth it. Sellers are very communicative and send lots of instructions so it was helpful. Love this fan!

Not a bad fan so far. Not too difficult to install. The switchblade feature is pretty cool (no pun intended). The directions are terrible, but it's not too difficult to figure out. Installed three fans in one day. This took the longest as the remote control wiring was very tight. The fan blades are made of plastic, which makes durability questionable. Very industrial look, not suitable for every space but suitable for my specific application.

things we love - the style, the color and the way the blades retract , are amazing! Things we don't like or have encountered issues with - 5-60W bulbs are recommended for these fans, but unless you place them on a runway it's too bright. First off, I'm a 50 year old engineer who has installed many ceiling fans to the point where I don't even need them anymore to (usually) read the instructions. This fan with a unique design tempted us to buy it and instructions are required for assembly. However, the <broken English> instructions apply to some other models.
