This fan looked great but installation was an absolute nightmare. Nested statements bore only a fan-like resemblance to them. Nothing looked like the lighting kit that comes with this fan/light. The parts included were not listed in the parts list or instructions and there were no clear instructions or illustrations in the instructions on how to properly assemble what you are selling here. I should have understood this dilemma from the start when trying to get the hanger to work. I had to drop everything and buy mounting screws that somehow worked because the standard 4" fan mounting box didn't fit this fan kit. Basically, you need to make your own mounting solution. Then forget the fan assembly steps. properly illuminate. After a lot of hassle and wasted parts being bought at Home Depot I just completely disassembled this mess, repackaged and sent it back. I've never been so disappointed with anything I've bought from Revain. But I bought several hundred things (and will of course continue) But apparently it was necessary to pat a little nervously,,,, and that's it. So I'm warning you, be prepared. Maybe I would have guessed it if I wasn't so excited, but then I figured if it's so awkward without clear instructions how can I trust the fan to run reliably for even a short period of time, I don't assembled correctly and therefore had no chance of a refund later, so I returned it to them.
