Absolutely what I needed!

Before ordering I had to be sure it was the right thing. 0 problems. But really, how could I be wrong? This is a Celestion product and I'm not confused by my cameras. Totally satisfied, this is a quality item and does what I need. I can buy another one for the secondary camera so I don't have to fumble around in the dark to turn the camera off.

Not tight, T-ring moves a lot when engaged

It doesn't take much from such a simple device: a secure and reliable connection to the camera. This T-ring provides a secure connection, but it's not tight at all, and the T-ring still moves noticeably when engaged. It's primarily a rotational movement, but there's also a slight lateral flexing. Very disappointing.

So much fun! for camera and photo

Man! I wish I had discovered this sooner! Not long ago there was a super moon and my wife and I tried to take pictures with our phones, POS cameras and Canon T6i. They all came out pretty awful. Surprisingly, POS took the best photo, but that's another story. I bought this ring to mount my Celestron 100mm spotting scope on my wife's T6i. I was so amazed at how clean the lunar craters were. I actually only had about 1/2 zoom because the moon at full magnification was too big to fit in the frame.

  • Impressive
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Stuck in telescope adapter, never got it to focus properly.

I would like to use this product, but after I attached it, it stopped coming off. Not sure if it's because of a cheap telescope or a cheap product, but no matter what, I've never been able to get the NEAREST focus to infinity. I was able to focus anywhere between 6ft and 7ft (this difference in feet is achieved by focusing the telescope, these numbers should be around 100ft to infinity) which when you focus on the moon (at infinity) the adapter absolutely does useless.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Frequency

Fake Celestron 93419 T-ring for Canon EOS

I am another customer who received wrong Celestron 93419 T-ring. If advertised as a T-ring no other explanation, should it could be a standard 42mm threaded T-ring. The one I received measures a 47mm thread, which is totally wrong. Other reviewers point out that someone packaged the wrong parts for the Celestron and those parts should be recalled and repaired. didn't happen and I'm the victim of an ongoing bug. Correction! Guilty. The T-ring has 2 threads. The second inner has the correct 42mm…

All I can say is it's the best

Before I bought this ring I was afraid that it wouldn't be made of good materials, especially after reading reviews that it doesn't lock can be the camera body. what i got is a really great product and together with the celestron t adapter i ordered it does the job perfectly. The ring snaps nicely into the body, but first you need to get it in place properly, as the EF lens has a small hole on the side of the ring that faces the red dot on the Canon camera body. If you then turn the ring…

A MUST ADD TO YOUR ASTRO PHOTOSET!

Yes, I like making headlines if I really LOVE the subject. This ring is a must have (literally) if you want to do astrophotography. The ring is required for T-adapters sold by Celestron to mount the camera to the telescope. There are differences between Nikon and Canon models, so make sure you get the right one. If unsatisfied, I would call that knurled ring on the side of the camera connector. Unlike camera lenses, this adapter ring does not snap or click into place. You can rotate it 1/4 or…

That's what you're missing

Ordered with an Ultima 100 angled sight (which I love) and this ring fits a T-mount and fits my Canon DSLR. So he does what he says he will do. But this is a missed opportunity and you will end up replacing it. just a crap shoot. The camera normally uses the electronics of the attached lens to focus. The camera then confirms it's sharp and we take the picture. Even if your lens is set to manual focus, the camera will let you know when you've achieved focus. However, when there is no lens…
