beautiful but thin reeds. They don't work like a light gel alone, they are too brittle, but they can be glued onto an LED light and not melted. So I put two together to get the right shade and made gels for my strobe lights. They are very beautiful colors and they have so many uses. I'm going crazy for them. I want to use something to paint the stained glass window. you get a lot for the money.

Update after 1 week of use. I bought these foils to add a pop of color to my aquarium. Within a week of installation, the colors completely faded and became completely transparent. Do not buy this product. This is just terrible. These sheets are sized by the manufacturer and match the description, however the size is really too small for most projects. Colors are not as bright and shiny. The thickness is normal, good enough,

I used them to cover my solar lights that illuminate the trees here. I needed holiday colors so I taped them to the lenses with a rubber band. For the full effect you need 2-3 pieces of each color, one sheet is not enough. They have worked well and are still intact throughout the Ohio winter. I will be using pink and red in February and throughout the year, changing the color slightly as needed. I saw a picture that used black paperclips to hold the sheets in place so I might try that as well…

As a professional photographer, I've recently started creating different gel looks. Although cello reeds are not heat resistant, remember that you should not place the reeds near a lightbulb/light source. You will melt. I used a reflex bowl with barn doors. The cello reed was about 6 inches from the LED flash and 3 inches from the modeling lamp. In my attached image I used two cello sheets taped to the modifier. Be sure to use tape as it is heat resistant and leaves no residue when removed…
