You can certainly pay more for these boots and not get much more. It was perfect! Our horse loves to eat them so they are perfect and last long enough for the money. Highly recommended!

They were a lot smaller than expected and I had to send them back because they found a tear at the top where they ripped in half completely when trying to put them on. The return was processed quickly and without problems.

Appears to be a quality discrepancy. I bought a pair last year which lasted 1 year (used for turnout). I was very happy with an inexpensive pair of flared boots that lasted a year so I bought another pair. The second pair lasted about a month before being torn apart. Unfortunately, this third pair lasted less than a week. I'm switching to another brand.

Too small. The big one can take a pony. The quality seems good and I was able to put the boot on with lots of hoof oil and brute force. Then I had to take the boot off the same way because it was so small it barely covered the ball of the heel let alone the ground. I needed boots to keep my gelding from ripping off his shoes. I am sending them back and ordering XL.

Love these flared boots. They are double thick at the bottom which I need to keep my boyfriend from tearing them up. The weight and thickness are spot on and they fit well both on top and bottom. I find they are true to size with most other bell boots. I have a 15.2 inch hand horse and the big boots work well as they are a bit big for him like every other pair of double-thick bells I've ever bought. They also don't chafe and my boyfriend wears them 24/7. A good product.
