Doesn't match my nationality.

This product is not intended for ethnic groups other than Caucasian/European. The shade was very light and didn't match my skin tone (and I'm a very fair African American).

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Sad equipment

What not to do: Sunscreen and tanning products

God where do I start. First, if you have fair skin, it doesn't suit your tone. This tinted sunscreen makes me look like some kind of President - no thanks! Second, it's too fat. Even when I use very little it feels like there is a layer of icing on my face - not good for the summer months. And if I swear by it, I look like a kid trying on makeup for the first time. I would not recommend this sunscreen to anyone, not worth it.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Not suitable for melanin

Let me start by saying that I have been an avid consumer and user of Cerave products for a very long time. Most of my facial products are from Cerave. I was incredibly excited when they launched this product as the photos they used to advertise it showed that it was used for darker skin. I'm a brown woman with warm undertones, early 20's, no major sunspots, combination skin (or normal) and no fine lines or wrinkles (for reference). Here is the product description: Protection: The product…

  • Stylish and modern design

Product 3 in 1! Goes well with Accutane

By 3 in 1 I mean it moisturizes, tones and protects the skin from the sun. So I'm currently on Accutane and my skin is incredibly dry and sensitive. I want to make sure I'm protecting my skin, but I don't want to look greasy with classic sunscreen. I learned about this product from Dr. scrap on youtube and my dermatologist. It contains pure ingredients and protects your skin on mild sunny days. My BB cream isn't working or spreading properly because my skin is too dry, but this stuff let me…

  • Large selection

Wonderful. Body Sunscreen

Replenishing. It works great as a sunscreen and also hides some of the redness I usually get. I apply it after my moisturizer, and on normal days or just for business I don't even put on foundation because it hides my red imperfections. But it doesn't mask my skin or make it look like I need to give it some color back with a blush.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Null

When it comes to choosing a sunscreen, it sits somewhere between mineral/physical blocks and chemical blocks. Each has its pros and cons, and it all comes down to what works best for your lifestyle, your skin, and the other needs you're trying to achieve with it. I like mineral sunscreens and most suit me well because I have a light skin tone and the white undertone isn't too noticeable. Many tinted mineral sunscreens try to reduce the white cast but still leave a hint of white cast - this also

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Speed

Replaces my Sunscreen/BB Creams/Base SPF Sephora

This is amazing. I always have a hard time finding a sunscreen that doesn't roll over my moisturizers, that only contains physical sunscreens, is fragrance-free, and doesn't leave a white residue. If you have the same problems then this could be great for you! I have a light to medium skin tone and it suits me perfectly. Plus it's a lot cheaper than all of my Sephora SPF skin tones/bases without the added fragrance. A+++

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Protection

LOVE IT! Best Sunscreen

I live in CO and have dry sensitive skin so finding the right moisturizing products is difficult. My face is acne-prone too, so I try to keep my skincare routine simple. I started using a topical gel so I had to switch to a mineral sunscreen and let me tell you my skin LOVES this formula! It blends so easily with your moisturizer and although I'm on the fairer side, it gives me a tanned look. Cerave! Please make another mineral sunscreen with THIS CONSISTENCY! listen to us The one you have now…

Pros
  • Works for many
Cons
  • Long time

Clogged pores and pimples :(

This sunscreen is not for those with blemish prone skin. After a week of use my pores are enlarged and my skin feels BAD and rubs off easily and clogs my pores. I guess that's what I get when I try to save a few bucks and buy the product at the drug store.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • For seniors
