Great mini USB cables for tethered shooting

Perfect length to permanently attach to a Canon 5DIII for tethered shooting. I also like that they include a left and right cable for both orientations. Zipped to an L-shaped strain relief mount and using a 32ft TECHTOO USB 3.0 Active Repeater cable, I can easily connect to my studio iMac and shoot remotely. For those working on a budget, this is a much more affordable solution than Tethertools.

Works as expected with cables and connections

There's not usually much to say about a USB cable. However, this one is good and works as advertised. I bought this cable to use with a police scanner. The scanner has a mini USB port on the side, which allows the device to be powered and programmed via a PC. With the standard cable, I feel like it comes straight out of the side port, making it unstable and prone to tipping over. With this L-shaped cable, it completely solves the problem and makes the scanner much more stable.

I bought it to give my Canon a little more flexibility.

I bought this to add flexibility to my Canon 5D Mark III and didn't want a long cord. I take pictures top to bottom and it keeps my setup neat/clean. The cable I chose is the cable marked "USB-A right" which connects my DSLR to the OTG adapter and finally to the micro USB port on my Android phone. The app I use is called DSLR Controller on the Play Store. It costs around $5 but it beats every other free option currently available as EVERYTHING is a joke. As far as I know, the Canon app only…

I needed a short cable to connect my OctoPi setup to my Ender 3 3D printer and it was just the USB length I needed!
