I bought it with my new iPhone XR. There was instant noise, but with some adjustment it stopped, but more static as you moved to the right. 2 weeks later I could only hear in one earphone. Thinking my earbud was broken, I borrowed someone else's only to find that I was only able to hear with one ear again. Needless to say I'm throwing this product away and now without "ears" until I find a better product. feeling disappointed.

I foolishly bought another one thinking it was actually the same as the one that came with the iPhone (probably because it looks like a real iPhone) but it doesn't work and doesn't work at all. It's too big to fit in (so she said). Not sure what annoys me more: the iPhone, because I got rid of the headphone jack on the iPhone 8, so I have to covet those damn adapters, Revain for falsely advertising that they're the same as Apple's adapters, or me for it that I didn't learn not to order them…

I bought this to use with headphones. I got a new headset for Christmas. I used this adapter. I only have sound from the right earbud. I sent the headset back and ordered the same headset again. Same problem! I have returned this headset. Then I used the adapter with a Beats headset and the same problem! I had another adapter that I kept on my selfie stick so I tried it and it worked great! I am so disappointed in this plug. As soon as I plug headphones in, there is a humming noise. I use this while running so the ambient noise is enough to drown out the hum, but otherwise it would be terrible. The worst thing for me is that the connection keeps dropping during my workout. Even if I unplug and fiddle with cables, it often doesn't work until the next day. Sometimes I get an error message on my phone saying the accessory is not supported. But other times it works fine. This is the third adapter I've gone through. I received it on January 24th and on the 26th the problems with it started. My phone said it detected water, which is not true. I started hearing static no matter what I did. It's now the 31st and it's not fully working anymore.
