I was hoping this product would work! It connects to my phone and the normal headphone jack on the splitter works. However, there is no brightening port on the splitter. Unfortunately I didn't need this product right away and I didn't check it when it arrived. When I needed it, I found that the item was defective. I was outside the return window so now I'm being paid for an unusable product.

Worked great for about a week. Then the case fell apart exposing the wires/microcircuits inside. I've tried putting it back together but it won't snap into place and now it keeps hanging out. It still works, but sometimes when it shakes properly it shorts out, changes the song I'm playing, or turns it all off at once. I'm not sure if all of these adapters are that cheap or if it's just one, but I'm not a fan of how quickly it fell apart.

I bought it twice, once for return/refund because the first unit broke the lightning connector after less than a week of use. The sound quality was terrible this week, it kept dropping out and you had to hold the phone a certain way for it to even work and it only worked for a minute at most at a time. The second was exactly the same, the charge worked about 60% of the time and the aux worked 30% of the time. Don't buy this.

Technically the headphones serve their purpose: they allow you to listen to your phone through wired headphones and charge it at the same time. If you're an audiophile, this adapter isn't for you, as you'll hear a constant buzz whether you're charging your phone or not. Definitely usable in a pinch (especially for the price) but don't expect this to be the best solution for your old wired headphones, especially if you need sound quality. Although correct of course.

The sound quality is only ok via the Aux socket, a bit of noise goes through, but definitely better than nothing. The power jack alone works fine as expected, BUT using the power jack and the aux jack at the same time causes terrible interference (unbearable), I recommend this as a quick fix, not a permanent fix. Delivery was fast. I've only had the cable changer (whatever it's called) for a week or so and the tip of the lightning connector has already snapped off as I said in my title…

I used this for my work - I work from home - and I take a lot of calls and have meetings so my phone's battery drains quickly during the day. I just wanted to try it and would love to read the reviews, but I was faced with a dilemma. oofi has a gaming headset that I use and it only works well with a 3.5mm headphone jack to Apple charging port adapter. it's for that, so it doesn't matter) but I can't even hear the phone calls, that part doesn't work at all. and the microphone does not work. this
