Moving digital materials from one place to another

I bought this mainly to make another batch of modded PlayStation 2 hard drives. Demand for PS2 mods has dropped significantly in recent years, but it is still cheap and an easy way to get an old Sony brick to play the games library without a working DVD drive. Then I remembered I have a very old hard drive from my emachines laptop, I wonder what's in there? I plugged it in and saw Windows Vista OS files and a bunch of family photos that I thought had been lost forever since 2004! Nothing else…

Easy Access to Old Drives

I ordered this product to check what was on some old hard drives I had laying around. So far it works exactly as advertised. Most of my hard drives were old IDE devices and were very easy to pick up and read with my Windows 10 laptop. One important note: it's possible that the hard drive isn't being read from a specific USB port, which is what happened. me. However, I was able to connect to a different USB port on my laptop and view the contents of the drives.

Works with newer 3TB and 20 year old hard drive

As the name suggests, I've been able to use this with both a not-too-old SATA drive that has failed and a really old PATA/IDE/ATA (large tape drive). I successfully retrieved a bunch of data from both and was surprised at how fast it went. I migrated about 1.5 terabytes from a SATA drive in a few hours. This drive didn't respond to anything else, so it was money well spent. However, I had to orient the drive and adapter vertically - the connection is not as secure as I would like. I also had to

This is a great IDE disk reader. My Windows 10 does not require any drivers for the system to recognize the drive. Just plug and play, and the disk information will appear on your laptop or PC hard drive. Just open the drive and you have access to all your files and you can drag and delete and change them anywhere, just like any external hard drive. Disc.
