👡 Chaco Tegu Women's Sandal Review

I have a pair of these many years old and was happy to find this heelless shoe as I had been wanting another for a long time. They fit just like my other Chacos and I am very happy with them. I was considering sending them back because the white webbing looks like they have been water damaged. It's very faint and not very noticeable. Because I love backless chaco I'll probably go.

I love the color. love nothing else I've been wearing Chaco for over 15 years. All styles. I like that the least. I haven't come back but would love to. Let's see if my daughter likes them. They do NOT fit like the other Chacos! Update: My daughter didn't like them either. They said they were uncomfortable. So I kicked them out. I absolutely love all the Chaco sandals I've had. There are many of them, everyday and leather. So this style is just a failure in my opinion.

I still have a pair of chacos and was glad I could put them on and take them off easily. I'm sorry to say that it wasn't that easy. The straps were not secured so my foot started slipping soon after (I had a sore on the top of my foot after walking 2 miles). The straps also tightened on my toes as I moved. I will use these if I don't have to walk far, the insole is still comfortable but it's not the kind of summer shoe I was hoping for.

I LOVE chacos and live in them all summer. I had the same pair that I ordered from their website (Chaco) and they were amazing. These are not very good. If I wear them for more than 10 minutes in a row, they contract and become very uncomfortable. They also have a much higher arch than what I know to be "real". My advice - if you're looking for good sandals, buy from a reputable store - not Revain. There is no doubt that they are fake.

I loved my Chaco Tegu sandals and wore them almost every day during our long summer in Alabama. But after wearing them for a few years and the new pup thought they were delicious, it's time to get some new sandals! I was disappointed that I couldn't find the originals to buy because I liked the double skinny straps, but decided to try the new Tegus with wider single straps because the open heel was always the most important feature for me.
