That works great! on Home Bar Furniture

Very easy installation. The swivel was a little tight to turn as required for installation, but not as difficult as many reviews would have you believe. Bought a pair to replace worn, underperforming hinges on a pair of used bar stools. WORK GREAT! They are comfortable to the touch and are designed for heavy use, ball bearings around the entire swivel. Hope to use them for many years.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Too difficult to spin after 1 year of use.

The product is sewn solidly, withstands heavy loads, but has not loosened over the year of operation. I tried raising the barrel a bit, but it snaps right back into place when I let go of the pry bar. The silicone spray loosens the chair, but only briefly, and then it gets so hard again that I can't turn the chair around without putting my foot on it or sitting on it.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Heavy Duty Best Play & Lounge Furniture

This is definitely heavy duty furniture. I used a set of 3 to replace 10 year old bar stools. It took me 15 minutes to install all 3 swivels. The 'only' downside is that they are really 'raw' - no powder coating and no rounded edges (they are pretty sharp on the edges). I definitely recommend wearing gloves during installation if you can't handle small splinters of metal!

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Some Problems

Good product: bar stool

I bought 2 of these items to refurbish my swivel chairs. The original swivels only had 5 ball bearings, which made no sense. I installed new swivel plates with ball bearings around the perimeter and the chairs are like new again. I will be ordering 3 more turntables to fix other chairs I have. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • I look forward to
Cons
  • Annoyed

great replacement product!

The swiveling in my 10 year old bar stools have seen better days, they didn't wobble and swivel very well - Revain to the rescue! I ordered one to try, it worked great and took about 10-15 minutes to install - I ordered 3 more to upgrade the rest of my bar stools - they are way better than the US supplied and made stools. super nice added bonus!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Legacy model

Fix your chair! suitable for play and lounge furniture

Almost persuaded to give away a 40 year old rattan dining set (and sold it for approx. On a whim I researched "chair turners" and found an entire industry around this product .The product we selected was delivered NEXT DAY, was easy to install and worked perfectly and much smoother than the originals.Too bad we didn't think to explore this sooner.Would recommend to anyone with swivel chairs.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Very expensive

Better than the original swivels

I bought some very nice Hawaiian style bar stools from a very nice furniture store in Maui. I really like bar stools, but they probably don't swivel. If I tried to rotate the seat portion while not sitting in the chair, the base would rotate instead of the seat portion. When I sat in the chair and tried to rotate the seat, I almost couldn't rotate the seat. I bought these pegs and when I first tried to hand roll the pegs I couldn't roll them at all. You have to rotate them to install them. I…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I'm nervous

It's a massive meaty metal nut!

Replacement for the long broken ones that came with my bar stools. No comparison! The old ones were thin, anemic, wobbly, and used a plastic ring with 6-8 fragile little bearings. These American-made steel behemoths are four times heavier and feature a bearing-filled bore for smooth, stable 360-degree rotation. Now my chairs are worthy of my exquisite back! I think the seat legs will rust and the seat cushion will turn to dust long before this product fails. There is considerable area for…
