Larger than expected but works great. Suitable for size 11 men's boots, helmet, shoulder pads, wattle bottle, towel and extra clothing. I only gave it 4 stars because the side pocket only opens in one direction from the bottom of the bag so you can't just unzip it from the middle to throw something in that compartment. When unpacking, make sure that nothing falls out.

This bag is just the right size and even has room for my 8 year old's football kit. I guess I'm used to my kids' bigger hockey bags so it didn't seem too "huge" to me, but it's actually a nice big bag that can hold a helmet and all the pads. It's also very affordable, and you'll love the multiple pockets and vents to air out those smelly, sweaty pads.

Nice bag, well made, just a bit too big for my original intention. Regarding pockets and compartments, there is only one side pocket and one thinner front pocket as seen in the picture. After reading the reviews I bought this bag to carry and store my son's youth football gear. It's definitely too big for youth football. My 7 year old can barely carry it because it's too big and bulky for a person his height and there's too much room in the pocket for youth football gear.

This oversized bag is perfect for an 8 year old's soccer gear (including helmet and pads, shoes etc). A standard sized pillow, a small blanket and of course his soccer ball. I hope it lasts for years for him as long as he plays soccer or other sports with equipment. I'm sure it's suitable for kids racquet, basketball, lacrosse gear, etc. It's versatile and not so heavy that it can't be carried. We used a shoulder strap to keep it stable as it's large.
