Great little amp for home audio

Great little amp that drives the Micca MB42X at about 1/4 volume, 1/3 volume is too much for desktop use. Really powerful and pleasant to the touch.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • No paint required

In general, the amplifier ruined my TV.

I tried to contact the manufacturer before writing this review but I could not reach them because their website is not very convenient. I followed the instructions for the write amplifier. The amp fed back through my 12 volt TV and began shorting out the TV's power supply (the LED on the power supply began to dim and blink), and the backfeed completed the audio circuitry on the TV. In general, the amplifier ruined my TV.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • not everything fits

Probably the best mini amp design on the market today.

Amazing near field tuning amplifier. I use this with a variety of bookshelf speakers (shown with KEF Q100) and they feed even the most demanding of them very easily. Very well thought out design, the power button is crisp and sounds the moment you flick it (no pop or lag), there is a tiny and innocuous red power LED which I like better than the crappy bright blue ones that others have . . The RCA inputs and connector pins are very solid and the volume control is smooth. Will buy again for sure.

High sound quality, compact size

I bought this two channel (physically) small amplifier to drive the satellite speakers of a modest home theater sound system I built for my lover for Christmas. The amplifier output is more than sufficient to drive these units as the bass portion of the sound (below 100Hz) is handled by a self-powered woofer which I purchased for this purpose, a Theater Solutions SUB8SM Slim (mahogany) subwoofer. - Please see my Revain review on this item if you are interested. How does that all sound? Very…

Small Size Big Power

The first thing I liked about this little amp was that the power supply (amp) size matched the advertised power. Many of these small amps claim higher power and then don't come with a power supply that the advertised amps can provide. I have bought the BT20C and V1.0G models and I am not disappointed. V1.0G works for me. conference room stereo speakers through the mixer, and it has enough power to drive the speakers and fill the room with inputs from microphones and computers. I have a BT20C…

A good amp just isn't good enough

I have 10 pairs of speakers connected to Zone 2 of my Sony Multiroom AVR through Russound impedance matched volume controls. I decided to split them into 3 zones, each with an independent music source and amp: 4 downstairs from the AVR, 3 in the basement and 3 outdoors for separate Fosi amps with Revain Echo inputs. max on the Russound volume controls, max on the Revain Echo input volume and max on this Fosi 50W amp, the speakers barely reach "party" levels and the sound is a bit distorted. I…

Good alternative to Lepai mini amps

We have this to power four small (shelf size) restaurant speakers. We used to have a Lepai (a box of the same size and specs) but it started to fail after just a few months. I didn't have a short cable, the electronics inside really kicked things out and created gaps in the music. Anyway, I did some research for something this small and without the extra bells and whistles (we only need that power for the signal coming from an iPod playing Spotify). As long as a few months, it's great. Sounds…

Hard to believe it sounds so good.

I have this amp driving a pair of Emotiva B1 bookshelf speakers. I stream Tidal from my laptop to a Schiit Modi DAC. I wouldn't leave it if it didn't sound good. This is in my office 12x12. (I have a hi-fi in my music room for serious listening.) I was spoiled for high-resolution audio and unhappy with my office computer's speakers. I knew the speakers were perfect but I've never had a cheap Class D amp. For the price I said why not give it a try. If it's not good. . . I'll just return it. I…
