The screws can be a little fiddly, but overall they're very useful when you want to quickly put a project together just to see if it works. I've used them to test all manner of LED lighting applications (hobby and professional) from backlit kits to cabinet top lighting. It's definitely worth it!

I am using them to replace my old laptop power supply with a Lenovo laptop power supply. I've tried buying a direct adapter but each time I've been sent to the wrong place. I've used them (and their female counterparts) for connections between my 12v transformers and the LiPo balancer chargers that I use for 3S 11.7- Use V batteries. I charged 2 batteries simultaneously and it draws about 4.2 amps continuously from the terminals for 1-1/2 hours. I checked the connections for heat but found nothing.
