Works great! Melted in my old (non-wooden) plastic. this allows me to clean the grill while it's hot with firewood, a super plus!

I like the brush but I bought it with the understanding that the nylon brush heads can be replaced. You can not. The one offered by the manufacturer is for a brush with a plastic handle and is not suitable.

This is pretty much what you would expect. The only downside is that the nicks on the piece of wood don't line up with the grate so the first few uses I had 2 nicks next to each other which made cleaning difficult. Just try to really burn out the grill design at the very beginning and it should work perfectly.

I got tired of searching all over the grill for the metal bristles of my old grill brush and worried about them getting into our food, so I threw them away and bought this brush to try. It is durable and easy to use. Wood for hot grill. Nylon bristles when the grill is cold. The nylon bristles can be replaced when they wear out (or accidentally melt) so that's a plus. I was skeptical at first, but this combo brush cleaned the grill really well.

Ideal for cleaning your grill when it's cold, before and after use, with the nylon brush. When the grill is hot you can use just the wood side and it fits under your grill grate. Works perfectly. People who don't read the instructions and don't understand how things work complain that nylon burns on a hot grill. Use as directed and it's perfect and you won't digest the tiny bits of steel that regular grill scrapers chip off - that's the whole point of this design. Highly recommended.

I take great care to keep my grill clean. I'm one of those guys, I can't help it. I used to have a brush with metal bristles.
