Be Careful About Compatibility

It said it was compatible with my HP. When I connected the charger to my laptop it said it was not compatible with the device. Even though it was charged, it destroyed my battery. In the end I went back to HP and ordered the original part.

Works great! I have an HP laptop and it works great! The size is roughly the same as the original. I bought it for my work laptop in case I forget the cable at home.

Pretty good but not OEM quality - shorter and thinner cable

I bought an extra cable for someone who uses their HP laptop in a construction trailer so they can leave the OEM cable in the trailer and the cable can keep in his cabin at our headquarters. When this cable arrived we took this cable and compared it to the OEM HP cable. The OEM cable is thicker - I don't know if it's thinner wire or shield or both, but the new cable is definitely thinner. The OEM cable may also be a foot or two longer than this cable.
