My Norelco shaver is at least 15 years old. The model number (8171XL) is not listed anywhere else. Since the product was guaranteed "free returns", I decided to give it a try. That works great. Also, it's smaller and lighter than the original charger, so better for traveling.

My husband ordered a replacement razor cord for his shaver and for some reason it didn't fit so I did a little research and found another one as we needed one asap Week gone This one was perfect, even matched another razor and FAST delivery!

This cable does not work. Or rather, it doesn't fit, at least not entirely. While charging, the indicator will flash green instead of the normal green. In the 3 hours that I left my device charging, I got 5 minutes of usage time. Really sucks, don't waste your money :/

Bought two (apparently a good thing). The first was dead, tried the second and it worked fine. They both fit the razor well and fit well, but they are cheap cables without a doubt. I'll probably keep a good one as a backup and order an OEM charger that I can rely on. I have no illusions that this is a quality product. Buy with caution.

The original charger was in dire need of replacing and this charger does exactly what it's supposed to do. And that's for charging my Phillips razor! Please make sure you do your research and take the time to look at your shaver's port or charging base before purchasing. I've seen many other reviews saying it doesn't fit or doesn't work for them. Plus it's a great replacement for my razor! Thank you Rewin!

I would give 0 stars if there was such an option. The charger just doesn't work. I even tried manually matching the charger to the shaver but it only charged the shaver once, enough to work a few seconds and now they're both dead. Don't waste money.

Finally decided to shave off my beard and use this charger. On closer inspection, a piece of red wire is sticking out through the plastic. I tried to charge the electric shaver but the charging light flashed. I let it charge for six hours and it died within seconds. Phew, just wow. Throw it away before my whole house burns down.

I have used this charging cable maybe 3 times since I received it on May 29th. 1st 2nd time charged with no problems for a short trimmer insert my husband needed. Last time it didn't load at all. I tried it on another trimmer that uses the same type of connector and it still didn't work. Unfortunately, by that time, my return window had just closed. Don't waste money.

It didn't work on my Manscaped. Like putting it in the right way up didn't do anything, but when I turned it wrong and the ends touched it started to load but it doesn't fit right so it didn't work. I know this probably sounds confusing but once you see this or know how the part that connects to the device is made you will understand.
