A big upgrade for your sockets!

This product has really cleaned up the look of my outlets, the design is so thoughtful. Great space saver. I particularly like that it has a built-in USB-C port for charging my newer devices, as well as older, more traditional USB-A ports. The angled sockets on each side are a brilliant solution, and the device feels reasonably secure when it is connected to the wall. I will immediately buy another one for another area of my apartment!

  • Comfortable to use

Failed. [UPDATED] in Power Strips

Original 1 Star Review: I've been using it for less than 2 weeks and regular outlets are working fine but the USB ports have completely stopped working. I've tried cleaning it and plugging it into a different outlet, but still nothing. Pretty frustrating considering the USB ports were one of the reasons I chose this splitter in the first place. a replacement that seems to be working properly so far.

USB C charging for MacBook Air is slow. Everything else is great.

Just stick an apple stone in one of the sockets. Do not connect USB C directly to the device. But it loads very slowly. I'm pretty sure this is really intended for phones that use USB C and not laptops, although it says MacBook directly. I'm deducting a point because I could have taken two stars, but it's really a minor inconvenience. Preserved sockets and USB slots are excellent. The design distinguishes this model. It really sticks to the outlet and doesn't feel loose. For the price it…

Great socket!

This is a great wall charger/socket extension. Charges all my devices perfectly! There is a white plastic stand on the back of the power strip, which is inserted into the bottom socket, making this power strip more stable and secure. I have read some reviews where customers have complained that when trying to plug in this outlet extender the plastic pin on the back of this socket extender was misaligned and had to be broken off or cut off. I had the same issue but found the plastic stand is in…

Don't waste your money

We've had this surge protector for 1 week. It was connected to something on the wall. Our dog fence transmitter. It was a brand new transmitter ($150 + $35 per night) and 1 month old. The surge protector was plugged into it for 1 week and the transmitter burned out and is now beeping. When talking to people from the dog fence, a fuse in the transmitter blew and needs to be replaced. It was as if the transmitter had no surge protection at all. I want my money back and you have to pay for a new…

NO OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION - No rating and no ground monitoring

This device appears to falsely claim to have a surge protection feature. On the label of the device that I received, the overvoltage protection class is not listed. This would be the only SPD I've seen that doesn't list a transient overvoltage rating. Revain's listing also states that it monitors a wired outlet on the property, but I removed the grounding by plugging a 3-prong adapter between the wall outlet and this unit, and the green light was still on, too without grounding. Universal Wall Filter 1800 Joules

I purchased this product because I could not find another surge protector with the same rating. Most go up to 900 joules, this one has 1800. Also, its design allowed me to plug in different power supplies that would normally block one or more other outlets. As you can see in the picture, with some fiddling I managed to fit each of them into the protector, although it's one of my tricky sockets in my apartment, which is in a corner and not easily accessible unless you' reuse power. cable strips.

Pros
  • 1800 Joules Output Filter
Cons
  • Not Bad

Well made, safer than the competition

This Addtam socket extension brings order to our bathroom. We're not going to let 15 amps through, but it looks like it's built well for that. To ensure the Addtam could handle electricity and moisture, I used a triangular screwdriver to pry it open and peek inside. It's all brass (?) metal in plastic cases soldered to printed circuit boards, except for a pair of ferrite core inductors with a couple of thick wire loops (part of the line filter). It looks like it can safely handle 15 amps, maybe
