Good cheap charger fits accessories

I had an old USB outlet that never performed as advertised - it charged slowly. When I added another accessory I looked for one with QC charging and it was the best value I could find. It came with a nice little hole saw for panels up to 1/4" thick, but since I was replacing an existing outlet with a 12v outlet I didn't have to use it, although it seems designed for longer use ! It is secured with a plastic nut and the body is threaded over an inch so it can be threaded through panels of…

So far, so good. Is working. Everything you need is included.

At the moment this seems like a pretty good deal. I installed this in a rather unusual location. It is installed at the bottom of the cup holder at the front of the center console. If you watch my attached video while charging the device the voltage meter will change to a meter showing you that the charge is going through the full voltage range as if it means the energy is going into something. . Yes you can turn that off, yes you can charge only, but oh my god it would be…

Neat device with really annoying features

I bought two of these chargers for two different cars. After a few months and a few trips later: I'll probably replace them with something else. They work decently, build quality is good, but in general some of their features are terribly annoying. You need to press the button on the charger to turn the port on or off. I've connected chargers to auxiliary cables in the car, so this feature is really annoying. Every time I turn off the car and forget to press that stupid little button, my phone…
