It did not Function How the No Recommunend is Advertized for Updating Garmin Nuvi

Bought this cable to replace an existing data cable for my Garmin Nuvi 50LM GPS. cable does not work. My Mac never recognized the GPS and I couldn't complete the map update.

WILL NOT CHARGE my Garmin - it's the

I bought this for our trip to Hell's Gate State Park. When I connect my Garmin with this cable it says "Preparing to transfer data" and then tells me that my Garmin CANNOT be charged with this cable. Good to know when you're miles from anywhere!

The cable only charged my Garmin but needs to be removed to use my device. It was just the charging cable. Would never let me keep in touch while I move. I was very disappointed in the seller's response when I mentioned that it wasn't working properly.
